Fortuna United Methodist Women Holds Annual Fall Bazaar

Chili, soup, sandwiches along with desserts were served at the Annual Fall Bazaar held at Fortuna United Methodist Church Saturday, Nov. 5. The church's United Methodist Women's (UMW) group hosted the annual bazaar which has been held for approximately 35 years. Monta Uptergrove is the president of the group and helped organize the event.

"The event has had really good luck over the years," she said. "We had a good crowd and did well. It is wonderful to come together for fellowship. Some who come have been here a long time ago and we see them once a year at the bazaar. Many seem to enjoy it and people always comment on the good pies and soup."
