The Mid-Mo Ambulance District Board of Directors approved the purchase of property on Route W in Morgan County near Barnett for use as an additional ambulance base. The decision was made at the regular monthly meeting Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Tipton district office.
The board previously approved Administrator Lee Kempf to make an offer for the property. The final price of $78,000 fell in the cost range the board had approved. The 7.4 acre property has a 1,680 square foot three-bedroom house built in 2000, and a large garage with a studio apartment.
