Vendors filled the California Elementary School Gym and Cafeteria as part of the Fourth Annual Shopping Extravaganza held by the California PTO. Rae Ann Shackleford is the vice president for the PTO. She said the money raised from renting the vendor space went to the PTO which invests the money back in to the Elementary School. Additionally they also collected one dollar which went to the Angel Tree or a non-perishable food item which went to the Food Bank.
"We had over 40 vendors in the gym and an additional half dozen in the cafeteria," Shackleford said. "The girl scouts set up in the cafeteria pictures with "Santa" and the Elementary Library was open with its book fair."
