The Russellville varsity boys basketball team opened the 2011-12 season at home Nov. 22, where the Indians lost 67-56 to the Rangers.
"Our team defense wasn't what it needed to be," Russellville Coach Chris Leuckel said. "Our ball handling and decision making wasn't very good either. We simply didn't value the basketball and had far too many turnovers. We will get to work and hope to improve in those areas."
