The California High School varsity cross country team competed at the Class 2 District 7 Meet at Tiger Jack's Golf Course, Holden, Saturday, Oct. 29, where the Lady Pintos finished in second place as a team to qualify to advance to the 2011 MSHSAA Boys and Girls Cross Country Championships Saturday, Nov. 5, at Oak Hills Golf Center (5K), Jefferson City.

The California Pintos traveled to Eldon for game #3 in Class 3 District 8 football Thursday, Oct. 27, where they lost to the Mustangs 38-0 to end the season 5-5.

The California High School varsity volleyball team faced top-seeded Stover in the championship match at the Class 2 District 13 Volleyball Tournament Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Cole Camp, where the Lady Pintos, the #2 seed, suffered a loss to the Lady Bluebirds to finish the tourney in second place.

The California Middle School seventh grade volleyball team hosted Versailles for the Lady Pintos' final match of the season Oct. 17, where the Lady Pintos captured a win, 25-23, 25-23, to end the season undefeated 12-0.
