After defeating New Bloomfield, then South Callaway at the Class 2 District 7 Softball Tournament Oct. 5-6 at New Bloomfield, the Russellville Lady Indians, seeded fourth, faced Blair Oaks, seeded second, in the championship game Friday, where Russellville suffered a 13-3 loss to the Lady Falcons.
Miranda Hill recorded the loss with two strikeouts. Hannah Campbell led Russellville hits with a double, a single and one RBI. Adrianna Basnett had two singles and Hill and Katie Wolken each contributed one.
