FFA hosts annual barbecue

The FFA barbecue was very successful Sunday, Oct. 2. The students and the faculty were very surprised at the large turnout.

There were about 780 people with take out meals and 833 people enjoyed eating together at the high school for a total of 1,613 meals in total.

FFA members where hoping to raise around $6,000 with the whole event however, they made $8,000. Adviser Adam Bieri said "The money that is raised goes towards the FFA meetings, trips and going to nationals."

The food that was brought into this event was donated by the parents and the student members. The parents were very helpful in making it a success.

The FFA barbecue was better than last years and the club hopes next year will be even better.
