California loses district championship to Stover

The California High School varsity volleyball team faced top-seeded Stover in the championship match at the Class 2 District 13 Volleyball Tournament Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Cole Camp, where the Lady Pintos, the #2 seed, suffered a loss to the Lady Bluebirds to finish the tourney in second place.

Three members of the California High School varsity volleyball team were recently named to the Class 2 District 13 All-District volleyball teams. From left are sophomore Sydney Deeken and senior Kaitlyn Allison, who were named to the first team, and senior Beth Crow, who was named to the second team.

Stover advances to Class 2 Sectionals Saturday, Oct. 29.
