The California High School cross country team participated in a meet at Linn Saturday, Sept. 10, where Lizzy Kirby and Ashlee Davis were medalists. Kirby finished in fourth place with 20:57, while Davis finished 18th with 22:33.
"Saturday was a record-breaking day for California Cross Country," California Coach Josh Grotzinger said. "The weather was near perfect for cross country, cool and rainy. The girls' team started the day off on a great note with everyone setting a season or personal best for the 5K course at Linn."
