MagazineCalifornia City council approves asphalt bid

At a special meeting on Monday, Sept., 19, the City of California Board of Aldermen approved the bid of Higgins Asphalt for resurfacing work on Industrial Road, Case Street, Corine Street and the parking lot at the tennis courts at Proctor Park.
The council also approved two ordinances. These ordinances change provisions for acceptable curb and guttering and changed the specifications for construction of an acceptable city street.
