From left, Prairie Home School students Sarah Gipson, Tara Vonder Haar and Josey Stevens auditioned for the District Choir Sept. 10, where Vonder Haar was selected to the District Choir and Gipson was selected to the Girls Honor Choir. "Though Josey was not selected, he performed well," PHS Music Director Nancy Kixmiller said. "Before his audition, Josey has never sung a solo." On Oct. 8, Vonder Haar and Gipson will rehearse with their respective choirs and present a concert at Sedalia. Vonder Haar will also audition for All-State Choir that same day. "I'm very proud of all three of these students," Kixmiller said.
