CHS Tracksters compete at Osage Meet

The California High School freshman and sophomore tracksters competed in a meet at Osage April 3, where a number of Pintos and Lady Pintos were top finishers in their event.

"I'm very happy with our results at the Osage JV meet," California Coach Rick Edwards said. "I like these meets because it helps us develop athletes and keeps the younger athletes involved. We had some kids who participated in events they normally don't compete in and did well."

Individual results for the California girls are as follows: 100 Meter, Libby Martin, sixth place; 200 Meter, Martin, fourth; 400 Meter, Martin, first; 1600 Meter, Regan Downing, fifth; 3200 Meter, Downing, sixth; High Jump, Downing, third; Long Jump, Martin, fifth, and Jasmine Wells, sixth; and Triple Jump, Morgan Henley, fifth.
