California and Russellville golfers compete at Southern Boone Classic

California and Russellville's varsity golf teams participated in the Southern Boone Classic Wednesday, April 11, at Eagle Knoll Golf Club, Hartsford, where the Pintos finished in ninth place out of 17 teams, while Russellville finished 10th.

The California High School varsity golf team competed at the Southern Boone Classic Wednesday, April 11, at Eagle Knoll Golf Club, Hartsford, where the Pintos finished ninth out of 17 teams. Other participants included Southern Boone, Fulton, Cuba, Blair Oaks, Linn, North Callaway, Mexico, Fatima, Fayette, Hallsville, Moberly, New Bloomfield, Osage, Harrisburg and South Callaway.

The top 10 finishers were as follows: 1. Fulton, 343; 2. Cuba, 353; 3. Blair Oaks, 354; 4. Linn, 354; 5. North Callaway, 354; 6. Mexico, 362; 7. Southern Boone, 363; 8. Fatima, 367; 9. California, 377; and 10. Russellville, 398.
