Mid-Mo discusses changes at ambulance bases

Possible changes at the ambulance bases were discussed by the Mid-Mo Ambulance Board of Directors at its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, April 12.

Among the possible changes discussed were a different location for the California base, and curb work and an extension of the concrete apron at the Versailles ambulance base. Board President Earl Reuter was requested by Administrator Lee Kempf to help determine what needs to be done at the Versailles base. Bids are to be obtained to repair the leaking basement of the house on the property.

New ambulance specifications are being readied for release of bids. It is hoped they can be released in the next couple of weeks. The new supervisor vehicle should be at the dealership in the week of the 20th.
