Russellville slams Crocker 27-7

The Russellville High School baseball teams were on the road Thursday, where the varsity Indians captured a 27-7 win at Crocker.

Kaleb Libbert pitched 3 1/3 innings of relief where he struck out two and gave up only one hit.

Clayton Meyer led the Indians with three hits and five RBI. Libbert contributed two hits and three RBI, and Chase Smith had one hit and five RBI. Clayton Harrison chipped in with two hits and two RBI.

"We did a really good job of taking advantage of the walks and hit batters offensively, for a total of 16 hits," Russellville Coach Lucas Branson said. "We were able to get a lot of the bench players some action, which gave them a chance to get some varsity time."
