Temperatures cool for Moniteau County Fair Baby Show
Tuesday, August 14, 2012
The Moniteau County Fair Baby Show drew approximately 70 entrants Saturday at the main arena of the fairgrounds, California, where milder temperatures and a nice breeze made for a much more pleasant evening for the event than in previous years.
Newly crowned 2012 Miss Moniteau County Caitlin Meyer, California, was on hand to help with the presentation of awards, and Mike Staton, California, served as the Master of Ceremonies.
Judges chose three winners in each age category, except for the Twins Under 2 Years category, in which there were only two sets of twins entered.
First place winners received a trophy, a blue ribbon and $5; second place winners received a red ribbon and $3; and third place winners received a white ribbon and $2.
