CARY

Arthur Lee Cary, 91, of California, Mo., passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at his residence.

He was born September 9, 1920, at Speed, Missouri, the son of Henry and Minnie Mae (Woodard) Cary both of whom preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on December 8, 1950, at California, to Mary (Duvall) Bolin, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Cary was a U.S. WWII Army Veteran, serving with the 29th Engineers in the Pacific. He had worked construction but was a lifelong farmer. He also loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include: four sons, Dean Bolin and wife, Billie, Blue Springs, Charlie Cary, California, Joby Cary and wife, Fern, Amarillo, Texas, and Glen Cary and wife Becky, California; two daughters, Karen Strickfaden, California, and Barbara Taggart and husband Bill, California; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by, son-in-law, Larry Strickfaden; one brother, Eugene Cary, and one sister, Mary Ann Dietz.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Mo. Burial with full military honors will be in California City Cemetery. Officiating will be Mr. Jack Bowlin. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

SIGLINGER

Dale Siglinger, age 71, of California, Mo., passed away August 20, 2012 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Mo.

Dale was born February 19 1941, in Bridgeport, Nebraska, the son of Duane and Pauline Bradsby Siglinger, both of whom preceded him in death. He attended school at Pierce High School. He was united in marriage November 10, 1961, in Loveland, Colorado, to Judy Ledford who survives of the home.

Dale was a lifelong over-the-road truck driver. After his retirement he drove a school bus in the Clarksburg area for three years and loved all the kids very much. Dale was a member of the Eagles Club #4027 where he loved playing cards with friends. Dale loved spending time with family and friends, but most of all he loved his grandkids and enjoyed every moment he spent with them. He will be sadly missed.

Survivors include: His wife Judy of the home; one son, Mark Siglinger with his wife Janice of Greeley Colo.; two daughters, Dina Fischer, with her husband Curt of Jefferson City, Mo., and Kellie Boyle of Columbia, Mo.; eight grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Siglinger, with his wife Marline of Boonville, Mo., and Donald Siglinger of Cheyene Wy.; one sister, Judy Kendal, with her husband Delbert of Estes Park, Colo. He was preceded in death by one brother, Danny Siglinger; and one sister, Joann Sawyer.

Graveside services were held at the California City Cemetery Monday August 27, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Don Dearixon officiating.
