Federal prison for California woman

A California woman, Cassie Lee Allee, 24, was in Federal Court in Jefferson City for sentencing the week of Dec. 10. She was sentenced to four and a half years in federal prison without parole. She was sentenced after entering a guilty plea to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Along with two others, she was taken into custody on July 22, 2011, and two drug offense charges filed following execution of a search warrant at a residence north of California.

The Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and Moniteau County Sheriff's Department cooperated in the operation.

Officers recovered digital scales, packaging material, glass smoking pipes and approximately 80 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of about $80,000.
