After trailing Dixon for three and a half quarters Wednesday night at the Class 3 District 10 Girls Basketball Tournament at Cole Camp, California's Lady Pintos came back in the final three minutes of the semifinal game to snag a 48-46 win and advance to the championship game.
California takes Warsaw out in district play
The California Pintos played Warsaw Tuesday night in first-round action at the Class 3 District 10 Boys Basketball Tournament at Versailles High School, where they defeated the Wildcats 58-38 to advance to the semifinal round.
High Point, Morgan County R-2 classes to dismiss due to flu
Due to recent outbreaks of flu and strep throat, the Morgan County R-2 School District will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. today and will be out of school Thursday and Friday. High Point R-3 School will have school today, but will be closed Thursday and Friday to fumigate and disinfect the school from the flu virus.
