California's freshman boys basketball team participated in the Jefferson Junior 64th Invitational last week at Columbia, where the Pintos, seeded eighth, ultimately lost the consolation game to #6 seeded Moberly 54-47 Thursday night.
"We got off to a slow start again, something that has plagued us the entire season, off and on," California Coach Dustin Jeffries said. "This was a hard-fought game; we just couldn't overcome the deficit."
