Prairie Home Girls

Prairie Home hosted Higbee Feb. 21, where the Lady Panthers suffered a 46-37 loss to the Lady Tigers.

Taylor Zey led Prairie Home with 13 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Brooke Emmerich followed with eight points, while Kendra Stinson scored six points and had eight rebounds.

Higbee was led by Shanna Clark with 14 points.

"This game was a tale of two different halves," Prairie Home Coach Jesse Oswald said. "Higbee was the more aggressive team in the first half and the second half we really took it to

them. If we could take back the first quarter and play it over again, obviously it would be a different game. On the defensive end, I don't think we were doing a bad job, but everything Higbee was throwing up was going in. After we settled down in the second quarter, it was a different game, but we had already dug ourselves too big of a hole. I will give the girls a lot of credit though as they didn't give up and played with a lot of heart."
