California High School will host ACT Workshops Jan. - April 2012 to help current juniors and seniors prepare for the ACT Test. The first workshop will be held Wednesday, Jan. 25, for the English/Reading portion of the ACT Test.
Students interested in attending the workshops must purchase a workbook for $21. (If planning to attend both the English and Science workshops, two workbooks will be required at a total cost of $42.)
To receive a workbook, checks must be turned in to Peggy Huhmann, Amy Kuebler or Dana Barr at CHS by 3 p.m. Jan. 12. Students must have possession of the workbook to attend the workshop.
Below is the schedule for the workshops:
English/Reading - 5:45-7:45 p.m. in CHS Room 116

Science/Math - 5:45-7:45 p.m. in CHS Room 141
• Feb. 15
• March 7
• April 4
CHS teacher Dana Barr will instruct the English/Reading workshop, while CHS teachers Amy Kuebler and Peggy Huhmann will instruct the Science/Math workshop.
