The California Pinto and Lady Pinto basketball teams hosted Southern Boone Friday night, where California ended the night with four wins.
The varsity Lady Pintos defeated the Lady Eagles 60-38, while the varsity Pintos won 45-32. California's JV girls won 33-29, while the JV boys won 50-45.
The annual California Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament will begin Monday, Jan. 9. The Lady Pintos will play Moberly at 7:30 p.m. Monday. The Pintos will play Eldon at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10.
