The California Pintos faced Helias in the semifinal round of the winners bracket at the California Tournament Thursday night, where they suffered a 59-47 loss to the #2 seed.
California, the #6 seed, will play top-seeded Mexico for third place at 4 p.m. Saturday, while Helias will play Southern Boone, the #4 seed, for the championship at 7 p.m. Saturday.
