Mid-Mo Ambulance approves investment policy

At the Mid-MO Ambulance District regular monthly meeting, on Jan. 11, Administrator Lee Kempf presented the board with an investment policy for the district. The lack of a policy was noted during the latest audit.

Kempf presented the board with an investment policy for the district. The only investments the district makes are in interest bearing checking accounts and Certificates of Deposit, but the auditor said it would be a good idea to have an investment policy. The policy recommended by auditor Marshall Decker of Decker and DeGood, Springfield, was revised for the district's use.
