ACT Workshop to be held today at California High School

California High School will host ACT Workshops Jan. - April 2012 for students in grades 10-12 to help juniors and seniors prepare for the ACT Test. The first workshop will be held today (Wednesday), for the English/Reading portion of the ACT Test.

Students interested in attending the workshops must have purchased a workbook for $21. (If planning to attend both the English and Science workshops, two workbooks are required at a total cost of $42.) Students must have possession of the workbook to attend the workshop.

Below is the schedule for the workshops:

English/Reading - 5:45-7:45 p.m. in CHS Room 116

• Jan. 25

• Feb. 22

• March 28

Science/Math - 5:45-7:45 p.m. in CHS Room 141

• Feb. 15

• March 7

• April 4

CHS teacher Dana Barr will instruct the English/Reading workshop, while CHS teachers Amy Kuebler and Peggy Huhmann will instruct the Science/Math workshop.
