Student Council sells chocolate bars

The California High School student council members are selling chocolate bars for a dollar to raise money for Homecoming and Courtwarming.

The money that the student council collects pays for the items needed for the pep rally games, crowns and flowers for royalty, dance DJ, etc. They will sell chocolate bars from Jan. 15 -27 or until the chocolate bars are sold.

The sponsors Tammy Scheidt and Jamie Johnston chose to do the chocolate bar fundraiser because it is quick and convenient for the students.

Student council members will also be holding a volleyball tournament in the spring which will also help raise money. With the chocolate bar fundraiser, they hope to raise about $500.

Johnston said, "Thanks to everyone for supporting the student council."
