The California Pintos hosted Dixon Saturday, where they defeated the Bulldogs 75-69.

The Pintos will play Hallsville at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, in first-round action at the 2012 Southern Boone Classic at Ashland.

California is seeded third, while Hallsville is seeded sixth. The championship game of the tourney is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.
