California's freshman girls basketball team traveled to Sedalia Jan. 23, where the Lady Pintos captured a 41-7 win against Smith-Cotton, which was California's final game of the season.
"The girls jumped out to an 8-2 first-quarter lead and never looked back," California Coach Barb Whittle said.
The Lady Pintos led 14-2 at the half, then added 27 points in the second half while holding the Lady Tigers to five points to secure the win.
