Children at St. Paul's Lutheran Church go on "Amazing Desert Journey" During VBS

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, California, held its Vacation Bible School July 9-13. The theme was "Amazing Desert Journey: Where Jesus Leads Us Home." The church had an average of 55 children and 40 volunteers during the VBS held at the church located at 207 North Owen Street, California. The offering taken each morning went to the Project: Clean Water which supplies clean water with water filter systems for families in Cambodia, Haiti and China, and to the Mt. Olive Lutheran Summer Reading Program in downtown St. Louis. Beth Jungmeyer was the VBS director.
St. Paul's Lutheran Church holds Sunday school at 9 a.m. with service at 10:30 a.m. For more information, call 573-796-2735 or go to www.stpaulscalifornia.com.
