Brothers Thomas and Michael Beanland decided to open Beanland Heating and Cooling in February with the hope of serving the Tipton area's needs. Alongside the sibling owners is their father Bob who also helps with the business.
"We have a combine 20 years in the heating and cooling business," Thomas said. "At first it was a little slow because of the warm winter, but with this hot summer business has picked up."
Thomas said they sell York 13-18 SEER units, Guardian units which are a product of York with a little less of a warranty, but close to the same quality and Armstrong units which are a sister company to Lennox. They also do air quality which involves UV lights, humidifiers and electronic air cleaners. Michael said their goal is to satisfy the customer.
"We aim to please," Michael added. "We usually end up working late nights but we try to take care of people especially if their air conditioner or heater does not work. We try to make it there that day. We take pride in our work and do our best. Doing the job right makes it easier when we go to service the units later."
