Approximately 35-40 youth ages 3 through sixth grade attended the High Point Baptist Church Vacation Bible School last week, June 10-15. Each evening started off with the opening ceremony, where attendees sang songs, recited pledges and watched a VBS video. Then it was off to a rotation of bible study, crafts, music, missions, recreation and snacks.

The theme of this summer's VBS was "Amazing Wonders Aviation."

...and another

"The kids fly around to different wonders of the world like Victoria Falls, the Grand Canyon, the Great Barrier Reef," VBS volunteer Barb Whittle, California, said.

VBS Director Robin Gier, High Point, said, "Vacation Bible School has gone really well. Our group has grown every day. We also adopted a church in Jefferson City and we're helping them pay off their van. We've raised $300 so far, so we're excited about that.
