Mid-Mo's Critical Care Transport in operation

The Mid-Mo Ambulance Critical Care Transport (CCT) became operational Monday, June 11. According to information given to the board of directors by Supervisor Jason Elliott, the CCT had already been called for two transport by the Wednesday board meeting.

The first call came within four hours of the official beginning. The first transport was from Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, to Landmark Hospital, Columbia. Elliott commented that the social workers at Landmark Hospital gave "excellent feedback on the new service" and were interested in having the transport available for their use. They thought other area hospitals would also be interested.
