New Hope Baptist Church Discovers God's Power During "Amazing Wonders Aviation" VBS

New Hope Baptist Church, Centertown, held its Vacation Bible School June 10-15. The theme was "Amazing Wonders Aviation: Encountering God's Awesome Power." The church had an enrollment of 65 children and volunteers and averaged 48 during the VBS held at the church located on Route N. The offering taken each night went to the Chaplain Program on the USS Enterprise and to Joplin Disaster Relief. Diane Reed was the VBS director. Plenty of goodies were available at the dinner "An International Food Court" held before the Family Day Ceremony.


Children put money in the offering during the Family Day Celebration Friday, June 15. During the week the offerings went to the Chaplain Program on board the USS Enterprise. The Family Day Offering went to Disaster Relief in Joplin.
