Budget discussions dominate city council session

The next California city annual budget, which goes into effect April 1, dominated the regular City Council session Monday, March 5. A budget was approved at the end of the meeting.

During the discussion, the importance of keeping the budget within available funds was emphasized. Considering expenditures, Alderwoman Carol Rackers said, "I don't have a money tree in my yard and I don't think anyone else does either."
