After winning the Class 3 District 10 championship games March 3 at Versailles, the Pintos and Lady Pintos were on a high they weren't ready to come down from any time soon, and that was evident at the Class 3 Sectional games March 7 at Rolla as both teams battled to the end to claim yet another victory and advance to Class 3 Quarterfinals.

The evening of March 7 started off with the girls' sectional game, where the Lady Pintos ultimately defeated Hermann 41-36.
