Decision-making can be daunting, especially for Medicare

Making almost any decision requires some weighing of benefits versus risks. This applies to just about anything. For example, should you repair the old car or buy another? If the decision is to buy another, should it be a larger, safer one, or a smaller one which may get a little better mileage?

Similar decisions must be made when signing up for Medicare, according to Kay Barbee, of the Central Missouri Area Agency on Aging. Because Medicare is not all that simple, Barbee presented two sessions of "Medicare Boot Camp" at the California City Hall Tuesday, March 13.
