Jamestown Assembly of God hosted its Annual Fried Chicken Dinner Saturday, March 17. The dinner raises money to help children from the church attend camp in the summer. Jamestown Assembly of God Pastor Justin Nichols said the dinner is also a good way to for the church to connect to the community.
"My first experience with the meal was a year ago," Nichols said. "I was blown away by the turnout we had last March. We were able to raise a lot of funds for the children. It was a really good time. This church members work really well together. They are like a machine and they work together to make things happen. It is awesome to see that unity."
