Moniteau County Regional Economic Development Council (MRED) Executive Director Ken Parrett reported to those present at the regular monthly Board of Directors meeting Wednesday, March 14, held at Norman G's, Tipton. There was no voting due to lack of a quorum.
Parrett reported a successful annual meeting with 45 present. He reported funds on hand were down from the year due in part to more expenses, but since C.O.R.E. dues are no longer being paid, MRED will save $1,400 this year. There is some success, since more people know who and what MRED is. The organization is seeking a wider range of membership and greater numbers.
