CHS receives Distinction in Performance

Superintendent Dwight Sanders reported at the regular California R-I Board meeting on Wednesday, March 21, that the school once again received the Distinction in Performance award. The award, received in seven of the last nine years, was presented on March 20 in Columbia.

After review, the board approved the Calendar for the 2012-13 school year. He explained the need for the district to align as close as possible with the Jefferson City school district. There are from 20 to 25 students at Nichols Career Center and others at the Early Childhood Special Learning Center. The calendar includes an "abbreviated spring break" in favor of multiple "longer weekends."
