The Pamida Pharmacy will close Friday, May 18, according to Tara Zeller, speaking for Shopko from Green Bay, Wisc.
The prescription files will be transferred to Bond Pharmacy in California.
The Pamida store, minus the pharmacy, will be open from Sunday, May 20, to Friday, Aug. 11, for liquidation of remaining inventory. The entire store will be closed for business on Saturday, May 19, in order for the merchandise to be marked for the liquidation.
According to Zeller, manager of Public Relations and Shopko Foundation, some stores are being closed as others are being converted to Shopko stores following the merger of the two companies in January. The merged companies are both owned by Sun Capital Partners, Inc.
