Prairie Home's varsity baseball team played a double-header Friday at Higbee, where the Panthers won the first game 5-4, and lost the second game 7-3. (Both consisted of five innings.)
"We came out strong in our first game and scored three runs in the first inning," Prairie Home Coach Jesse Oswald said. "We were very patient at the plate, however, we left a lot of base runners."
Trever Huth recorded the win for the Panthers with 12 strikeouts.
