Panthers play double-header at Higbee

Prairie Home's varsity baseball team played a double-header Friday at Higbee, where the Panthers won the first game 5-4, and lost the second game 7-3. (Both consisted of five innings.)

"We came out strong in our first game and scored three runs in the first inning," Prairie Home Coach Jesse Oswald said. "We were very patient at the plate, however, we left a lot of base runners."

Trever Huth recorded the win for the Panthers with 12 strikeouts.
