Cheerleading Tryout

The cheerleading coach Ms. Thomas was pleased by the number of girls who had showed up to the practices before the final tryouts.

"The number of girls increased this year but we still have had more in the past," said Thomas.

During the practices Thomas is using a new technique to teach the girls their routine. Instead of the coaches having to demonstrate the moves the girls only had to watch a simple video. This technique has seemed to make it a lot easier to remember the moves.

There were a total of four practices that was held right after school from 3-5 p.m.

There was a mixture of freshmans, sophomores and a junior who were willing to take on the challenge of becoming the new cheerleaders for 2012-2013 school year.

Last Friday were the cheerleading tryouts. Congratulations to the following students who are now apart of the new cheer squad, Abbie Bilyeu, Alysha Mettle, Amber Klebba, Amber Long, Kim Summey, Madison Henry, Paige Cox, Starr Kearney, Sydni Reuter, Laci Speidel, Lexi Benne and Megan Sansing.
