Area youth compete at Lions Club Track and Field Meet

The annual Lions Club Track and Field Meet was held Friday, May 4, at California High School, where approximately 725 area youth in grades 4-6 competed. Schools other than California that participated included Clarksburg, Jamestown, Latham, Prairie Home, Russellville, St. Andrews, Bunceton and Tipton.

The meet was concluded with an awards ceremony in which Master of Ceremonies Mike Staton announced the top five finishers in each event.
