Emergency dispatch board meets

The county sales tax rate for funding the Emergency 911 Dispatch system was discussed briefly Thursday, May 10, at the regular monthly 911 board meeting. No decision was made and plans are to discuss the matter further at the June 14 meeting.
According to the treasurer's report, sales tax received was $25,795.58. The MMDA account balance as of May 9 was $221,560.84. The CD balance was about $71,100 as of April 30.
