Many in Moniteau County have seen gangs of gnomes in front yards. For some, unexpectedly, they have been gnomed themselves. At first there has to be a level of confusion until reading the signs which point to the culprit, Christina's BFF's Relay for Life team which is doing a Gnoming Fundraiser throughout the summer.

President Bush talks with Gordon Brown, British prime minister, before a working session at the Group of Eight (G-8) Summit in Toyako Town, Hokkaido, Japan, on Tuesday.

The team has offered some suggestions on what to do with the gnomes such as taking fun family pictures with the gnomes or plotting revenge on those whom you suspect have gnomed you.

For a $20 donation, individuals can gnome their neighbor, family, business. They added in the wee hours of the morning the clan of gnomes (approximately 30-50 of them decorated in pink for breast cancer awareness or purple for Relay for Life) will take up residence in the location of the gnomer's choosing. Gnome removal is $10, gnome relocation is $20, the gnome witness protection program (your name not being revealed to the person you gnome) is $5, gnome removal, relocation and insurance against future gnomings is $30. All proceeds of the gnoming go to the Moniteau County Relay for Life/American Cancer Society.
