Many clean and polished motorcycles were on display at Proctor Park, California, Saturday, May 19, as part of the Grace Living Center Bike Show Fundraiser. Brothers of the Son, a Christian motorcycle group out of Sedalia, co-organized the event along with Grace Living Center Executive Director Donna Ward, for the center which ministers to women who have made mistakes and need help rebuilding their lives.

"About six to eight months ago I met a member of The Brothers of the Son," Ward said, "and we talked about what both of our groups do and they offered to do a bike show for us to help raise money for the facility. It is a great thing and their mission is to bring bikers to Christ and ours is to bring ladies to Christ so it is a great partnership and they are a great bunch of guys."

Ward said building up the ministry has been slow and they have had their struggles and have learned lessons from trial and error.

"We discovered God has intended for us to support ourselves," Ward said, "and we are working on that fairly well. We are trusting God to provide what we need. The ladies go through a thorough interview process and they are coming in very serious about staying clean and building a life for themselves so it has been good."
