EDWARDS
Wayne Alan Edwards, age 64, passed away September 25, 2012 at his home.
He was born December 17, 1947, to John Garnett Edwards and Virginia Florence Byler and they preceded him in death.
Wayne retired from Duke Energy, then, returned to central Missouri for his retirement. He loved to watch NASCAR, enjoyed fishing and his garden projects. He enjoyed viewing the bald eagles from his spot near the Missouri River and just socializing with friends and family. "Chub's" fun-loving wit will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary (Missy) Taylor of Louisville, Ky., and Amy McDowell of Baton Rouge, La.; three brothers, Gilbert, Bob and Ronnie Edwards; and two sisters Shirley Potter and Nevelyn Nivens; three grandsons, Zachary Mason Taylor, Jacob Carl McDowell and Evan Riley-Wayne McDowell. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Riley Garnett "RG" Edwards.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Roll Funeral Home Chapel in California, Mo.
