Price selected for the Blue-Grey National All Star Classic

Anthony Price California Pintos varsity running back has been selected to be on the south squad of this years Blue-Grey National All Star Classic. The big game will be played on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at the Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Price is one of 90 senior recruits selected from over 4200 players who competed in the Blue-Grey Regional Combines. This gives him and other highly rated prospects the opportunity to show their abilities in front of the college football nation and fans to secure a football scholarship. The contest between the North and South will be streamed live and also delayed by Fox Sports South to the entire country.

Price needs to submit fees to secure his place on the team. He is accepting donations to the Anthony Price Blue Grey Classic Fund at Central Bank. He has donation cans around town, there will be bake sales, a Pizza Hut Fundraiser on Oct. 1, a bake sale at homecoming on Sept. 28, as well as many other opportunities to help.

Price and his family appreciates the California community and all the assistance to help him get to the big game.
