Moniteau County 911 board meets

The regular monthly meeting of the Emergency 911 Dispatch Board was held Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Emergency Dispatch Center.

According to the treasurer's report, sales tax received was $54,632.65. The MMDA account balance as of Sept. 10 was $245,546.41. The CD balance was about $71,500 as of Aug. 31.

The total payroll was: Aug. 14 - $7,820.39; Aug. 27 - $9,312.49; and Sept. 13 - $8,772.93. Overall payroll taxes were $8,144.41. Total accounts payable approved at the meeting amounted to $12,724.29.

Administrator Corey Sullivan reported the hiring of Michael Winget, Jamestown, full time. He already has some call center experience and has been training since being hired.

The budget is being worked on. Health insurance is likely to increase by 10 to 15 percent.

The center planned a booth at the Ozark Ham and Turkey Festival and a float in the parade.

Four dispatchers will attend a training conference in Branson Sept. 24-26.

The next regular monthly meeting is Thursday, Oct. 11.
